Spaten München is the original Münchner Hell. Spaten is the originator of this style of beer. Spaten means spade in German and the symbol of the brand is the malt shovel. I am happy to shovel a liter of this beer in honor of Oktoberfest or any occasion into my belly…. Well, maybe not shovel, but definitely drink… especially with a nice sausage or Schnitzel! PROST!
