It would be easy to walk right by Kamen, but when you walk in you are greeted by a small little tasting room with the quotes from classic movies on the wall. Can you guess all of the movies they are from? These movies quotes are from screenplays that were written by the owner, Robert Mark Kamen. Kamen focuses on terroir-driven wines and although they make others, there bread and butter and what you go to taste is their Cabernet Sauvignons. They are pricey, but worth it! The wine tasting room is small (with 4-5 people it feels a bit crowded). There is standing space early, so this really isn’t the type of wine tasting experience where you would plan to spend hours, but it is definitely worth an hour or so and a stop by if you’re on the square.
