Trione Vineyards & Winery is in the Alexander Valley of Sonoma Valley, located just off of the 101 Freeway and south of Geyserville it a gorgeous vineyard and tasting room. A visit to this winery can be a simple tasting, or it can be an entire day experience. The grounds have vines all around, two full length bocce balls courts, and picnic tables so it is definitely a place that can be a destination for an enjoyable day of tasting and a bottle.
The few times I have been the staff have been friendly, knowledgeable, and are happy to answer questions and give you information about the winery. Because of its size and ease of location this venue does hosts weddings, allow for busses, and big groups so (if you are not a big group) before attending I would make sure that no group event is going on that day so you can enjoy the peaceful ambiance it has to offer.
