In the first up on my feature of Westside Rd is Twomey Winery.
Twomey Cellars was started by the Duncan Family who is the family that operates Silver Oak Cellars (yes, that world famous Cabernet!). There are two wineries one in Calistoga in the Napa Valley and the one I am reviewing in the Russian River Valley on our feature – Westside Rd! This tasting room has small-production winery-only Pinot Noirs. Also available at this location is Twomey Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot. All of the wines are delicious, but the Pinot Noirs are a bit of heaven.
The tasting room is welcome and beautiful, but the outside is the true star of the environment. Sitting out on the patio with your furry friend if you like, you get a gorgeous view of the Russian River vines.
